At the trial court level, circuit court clerks are elected on a partisan basis and are responsible for the custody, control and safe storage of Circuit Court and District Court records.

Harlan County Assessor
The Harlan County Assessor's office will be reviewing Alma, Oxford, Hunters & Haskins Hill, Hanchett's Subdivision and Pheasant Point properties for the 2026 tax year.
